Set on 125 acres in the mountains of upstate NY, our former dairy farm offers multiple stunning barn spaces, luxurious safari tents, a boutique farmhouse inn, an outdoor cathedral, bonfire patches, an indoor ceremony option, a gazebo island on a one-acre pond, a hammock park, intimate woodlands, an after-party club lounge and breathtaking views.

We also offer unique experiences, like a beer burro (Look it up, it’s everything!) and we have the friendliest farm animals.

We are a resort-style venue. That means that you have exclusive access to the entire property for your weekend-style event (it’s like taking over an entire resort.) Our team is on-site the entire time to make sure you are happy, having the time of your lives and are properly pampered.

From the initial website inquiry to our farewell hugs, we give you personalized and intimate service.

We ask you questions, we read your story, we chat, and we get to know you. During every phase of the planning process, we take time to understand your vision and what is important to you. You will chat with our owners, with our Experience Team and with our Culinary Team.

We refer to you by first name here, even to each other. By noon on arrival day, we know your guests by first name too.

We’ve built you a one-of-a-kind Glamping Village where you enjoy the weekend in a two-story (treehouse inspired) Sweetheart Safari Tent surrounded by your wedding party.

Guest lodging includes ten (10) luxury safari tents, ten (10) farmhouse inn suites and ten (10) glamping safari suites.

Nearby additional accommodations include local Airbnb rentals 2 minutes away in the village of Gilbertsville, and major hotels only 25 minutes away in Oneonta, NY.

Our in-house catering kitchen, Harvest 336, brings the Gilbertsville Farmhouse standard to your table. Offering convenience, consistency, and quality, our culinary team uses only the highest quality cuts of meats and the freshest ingredients possible. We never use chemicals in our food and every dish is made with an abundance of love.

Do goat yoga with our famous NY Goat Yoga goats who have appeared with Andy Cohen, Drew Barrymore, Dr. Oz, Action Bronson, Tyra Banks, and Sophie Turner of The Game of Thrones (Yep! We are bragging.)

Our beer-burros, Chico and Frida, offer beer to guests during cocktail hour. Our baby alpaca, Henri, is in training to be our wedding alpaca for incredibly soft snuggles and amazing photos.

We are a former NYC family, so naturally our farm has to have luxuries. A better way to describe it is to say that we operate a “bougie” farm.

If we had a motto, it would be “we got you!”. That’s because we get you. We are you, and we understand you. I mean, who says you can’t love the outdoors, but still want a king-sized mattress and designer sheets in your camping tent? Isn’t that how it should be?

We created Gilbertsville Farmhouse in 2014, and all these years later, we still absolutely love what we do. Our goal is simple - to give you and your guests the weekend of your lives, and have a great time doing it.

We have built an incredible team. As we grow, we hire first for character and second for skill. That is because skills can be taught, but passion, love, integrity and generosity are part of a person’s soul. They only way to translate love is to feel it and be it.
